The Crest Academy is a small, non-traditional public option of the Salida School District, designed to meet the unique needs of middle-school students. We work tirelessly to make an experience that will harness natural curiosity, guide students to explore personal interests and create a safe-place to become a thriving teen. Our students leave well-prepared for high school and beyond.

Each year, the Eighth Grade Class at the Crest Academy celebrates four years of learning with a class trip. Students raise funds from various events including the annual Market Night. Some of the funds raised are individual and some are a group effort. Money earned from Moonlight Monday will help pay for group transportation needs.
