Mission Statement: Family and Youth Initiatives (FYI) is the prevention division within Chaffee County Department of Human Services, with a focus on providing evidence-based prevention resources for children, youth, and families in Chaffee County. FYI’s programs promote health and reduce risk to build a strong community. FYI is recognized as a community leader in prevention and family support services and is funded through multiple government grants, foundations, Chaffee County Department of Human Services (DHS), and generous community support. FYI is seated within Chaffee County DHS.

Our vision is that Chaffee County residents are the safest, healthiest & most self sufficient in Colorado.
