WHO THEY ARE

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County is dedicated to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. They're the largest and most vital youth development organization in Chaffee County, helping change the trajectory of youth and teens for the better.

WHAT THEY’RE UP TO

When school is OUT, Boys & Girls Club is IN. Their doors were open 255 days last year, giving kids a safe, supportive place to go when they need it most. Right now, the Clubs are deep into their Summer Camp Program—open 50 days this summer, right when parents and guardians need them most, full of learning, new experiences, fun, and friendships.

A STORY THAT STUCK WITH US

Kyle P. has been a member for the past two years. He's part of the CrossFit Kids program, Chess Club, every sports program they offer, and Power Hour Homework Help. He's thrived at the Club, making friends by the dozens and learning grit and resilience along the way. His mom put it simply: she doesn't know what she'd do without the Boys & Girls Club, and she has to drag him out most days because he never wants to leave. That's the kind of place this is—somewhere kids don't want to leave, because the staff believe in them.
