WHO THEY ARE

The Alliance empowers individuals beyond domestic and sexual violence through direct services, education, and social change. They serve all of Chaffee County, Western Fremont County, and Northern Saguache County with a 24/7 helpline, emergency safe housing, support groups, individual counseling, youth prevention education, supervised visitation, and more.

WHAT THEY’RE UP TO

The Alliance supports survivors when they need it most. Whether it's a safe place to stay, someone to talk to, or help navigating what comes next, they show up. Their work spans crisis intervention, long-term support, and prevention education—making sure people have what they need to move forward.

Your Moonlight Monday donation goes directly to helping survivors with immediate needs. We're talking taxi cards, grocery gift cards, gas vouchers—the kind of assistance that makes a real difference right now. These funds help The Alliance respond when someone needs help, whether that's this week or six months from now.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE ALLIANCE

The Alliance recently hired a new Youth Program Manager to expand their youth-focused programming. In 2026, they're focusing on reaching more young people, including through their new Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange program.

Here's what really hit home for us: A full tank of gas can help a survivor relocate to a safer community. A Walmart gift card can make sure their kids don't go hungry.
